Get Involved

Creating a bridge from homeless to home is a hands-on community-wide effort.  We invite the participation of groups, individuals, businesses, churches and always have many areas in which you can apply your talents.  Here are just a few current areas of opportunity (we also welcome your ideas)

  Direct Client Support:

Provide support to a single mom; baby-sit, help clean, mentor, etc.

Prepare a meal for one of our families

Drive family members to appointments

Tutor a family on computer skills

Tutor an adult in one of our families who is studying for their GED

Tutor reading, math, and other school subjects to a child in one of our families

Volunteer in our Women's Day Program   

  Support Services:

Serve on a committee; fundraising, audit, due diligence, etc.

Help at one of our fundraisers

Help in our office

  Maintenance/Repairs

Do seasonal yard work

Volunteer to clean an apartment before/after a family moves in.

Offer your skills for repair work; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting

Clean gutters and downspouts
